Accessibility
We attach great importance to ensuring that our website is accessible to all people – regardless of physical or technical limitations.
Status of compatibility with the requirements
This website was developed on the basis of the guidelines for accessible web content (WCAG 2.1, conformance level AA) and the Barrier-free Information Technology Ordinance (BITV 2.0). The majority of the requirements are met.
Known restrictions
Despite extensive efforts to ensure accessibility, there may be deviations in the following areas:
Contrasts: With individual color combinations (white on orange / orange on white), the minimum contrast required by WCAG is not fully achieved. This design follows the company’s binding corporate design guidelines and can be a limitation, especially for users with visual impairments.
Video content: The embedded “About us” video is currently not subtitled. An accessible version with subtitles will be improved.
Technical implementation
- All forms contain descriptive labels, notes and ARIA attributes.
- PDF files are, as far as technically possible, provided with structured content for screen readers.
- Images contain alternative texts or are marked as decorative.
- The page structure follows a logical hierarchy (H1-H6).
- The website can be operated via keyboard and screen reader.
